Last updated: [launch date]

These terms cover using this website and, unless a signed agreement says otherwise, working with ClickBuzz.

01

Using this website

You're welcome to read, share and link to anything on this site. Please don't copy our content and present it as your own, or use the site in a way that breaks the law or stops it working for anyone else.

The words, design and images on this site belong to ClickBuzz Media Ltd, unless we say otherwise.

03

The test, and what we write

The test, our notes and everything else on this site are general information to help you think about your business. They aren't financial, legal or tax advice, and they don't replace advice on your own circumstances.

We check every figure before we publish it and name where it came from. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we'll correct it openly.

05

Our responsibility for the site

We work to keep the site accurate and available, though we can't promise it always will be. The site is for business use, and we aren't responsible for business losses that come from using it, such as lost profits or opportunities. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

06

Working with us

Every engagement starts with a written proposal or agreement that both sides accept. It sets out the work, the price and the timings. Where it doesn't cover something, these terms apply. Ventures always run on their own signed agreement, and where that agreement differs from these terms, the agreement applies.

The work. We'll carry out the agreed services with reasonable skill and care. We'll tell you what we think is possible and why, but we can't guarantee results such as sales, leads or growth, because they depend on things outside our control.

What we need from you. Accurate information, approvals on time, and confirmation that anything you give us to use, such as logos, photos or words, is yours to share or that you have permission.

Who owns the work. Once you've paid in full, the final work we make for you is yours, and we'll confirm the transfer in writing. Material we license from others, such as stock images and fonts, stays under its own licence. Drafts, unused ideas, and our own working files and methods stay with us, unless we agree otherwise in writing. We'll only show work we've done for you, or name you as a client, with your permission.

Payment. Invoices are due within 14 days. If a payment is late, we may charge interest at the statutory rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, and pause work until the account is up to date.

Confidentiality. Each side keeps the other's confidential information private, unless the law requires otherwise.

Liability. Neither side is responsible for lost profits, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any piece of work is limited to the fees paid or payable for it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

Ending the work. Either side can end an engagement with 30 days' written notice, unless the agreement says otherwise. You pay for the work done up to the end date.

07

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute.

08

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the current one. Changes don't affect an agreement already signed.
